So if you weren't already aware, nerds spanning all fields have, in fact, been arguing about things pretty much as soon as there were things to argue about. I don't recall where I read this (I wanna say it was in the Scientific American Book of Dinosaurs) but apparently in the early days of the meteor-collision extinction theory at some scientific convention a fistfight actually broke out over the topic. I am not sure how that makes me feel about the arguments I used to get into about what video game system was best.
